How to Tighten a Loose Ring: Solutions & Advice

I had a custom sapphire ring made, and I knew it would be a little big as it had to fit over my knuckle, so the bottom was squared off so the ring would turn less.  This, however is not enough and the ring slips around quite a bit. Is there an easy way to fix this? What way would you suggest?

HI sally , I am no expert on rings ,infact my area is Opals.But I have many customers who have  to resize rings they buy that are the wrong size. You problem is a little different. Merely resizing will not get the ring over your knuckle, I suggest you pad the bottom of the ring with a cloth band aid with just a little padding , tis will allow it to get on your finger and  stop the ring rotating . It should be effective but ,it still will slip alittle . Hope that helps best regards Rod Keady
