Identifying Your Hycrest Sterling Silver Ring: History & Value

I was given a ring just a few days ago and upon looking at it i saw a Hycrest Sterling stamp inside of the band.I have looked up Hycrest and came across a few other rings that I have recently been given but I can not find this one ring.I would like to know about where it came from and how old it may be. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I suspect they are an American jewelry manufacturer that used foreign designs and stampings for their jewelry. Sorry I couldn't find any other information for you.
