Authentic 14kt Gold & Korean Jade Earring & Ring Set - T.Y. Lee & Co.

Question

1942-1943? Korean Jade
This item in question is a 14kt. Gold Earring/Ring Set, with what I believe to be Jade Gemstones.  They are not completely solid in color, but are a very nice, bright green, but when observing closely, seem to have seem to have swirls of darker and lighter shades of green.  This set is in it's original box, purchased in Korea, from T.Y. Lee & Co. (Jewelry & Curios).  It was 1 out of only 9 jewelers/curios that the military had permission to patronize.

So, my questions are these:

1. Am I correct in believing that this is Jade?
2. If this is Jade, set in the 14K Gold, does it have any worth that would be worth my time, having it appraised?
3. There are markings on the ring, some of which are self explainatory, and the others, I am not so sure.  The markings are as follows, in order: TLY 14K, 506 2.  I am not sure of the 506, either it is 506, 50b, or 508, nor do I have any clue what that number might mean, nor am I sure about the 2??  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!  Thank you so much.  Nikki

Answer
Nikki I cannot tel if it is Jade until I can test it and appraise it.
If it tests to be Jade I would have it appraised.
The markings  506 2. are probaly a model or catalog number.

Sorry thats the best I can do

Thanks for writting !!!

Good Luck
