Identifying W&G Gold Diamond Rings from the 1920s - Expert Advice

I have a small ring that was my great grandmothers, and would like to know if there are any manufactures that would of marked their items with W%26G I think the ring was made around the 1920's and has 9 small diamonds in them (not sure if they are real) and is 9carat yellow gold, is there any chance you could help or point me in the right direction.

Hi Jude,

There may be a record of the hallmark in the recdords in your library. There are literally thousands of different hallmarks. If you have an idea of the locale or the store or the jeweler you may get a lead. Since it is not a major piece it will be difficult. It takes a lot of persaverance and time and you may be able to find it. I personally am not aware of any such hallmark. Good luck.
