Lost Larimar Stone in White Gold Ring? Expert Advice & Repair Options

Hi i was in the Dominican Republic last year and brought a white gold ring with a Larimar stone set in it.
Yesterday the stone fell out and to send it back to the DR would cost a fortune.
Could you advise me if it is possible to set the stone myself and if so how i would go about it.

I'd advise you not to try doing that because if the stone falls out while you are travelling or without you noticing, you might lose the stone.

It might be a better idea to take it to a jeweler you trust or a nearby jewelry repair shop & get it set there.
