AnswerI am assuming the oval is the same shape and size as the existing Jade...
so it will fit into the vessel tightly...
another important consideration is opal is very soft... it scratches easily..
and does not wear well especially on a ring where it is easily
being hit or rubbed against something often hard... I would definitely speak to a Goldsmith or
someone well familiar with opals before mounting it in a ring..
