Rare Hand-Shaped Gold Ring with Diamond - Appraisal & Details

I have just found the most amazing gold ring - hallmarked gold but too small to see detail. It is shaped like a hand, with the thumb and little finger bending round to form the band, the index finger has a square set diamond in a ring. It is complete with finger nails and knuckle wrinkles! Have you ever seen anything similar?

Hello Rachel and thank you for your inquiry. Your ring sounds very interesting. Since it is hallmarked gold you might want to have the stone check out by a jeweler or gemologist. Since there is no hallmark, it would be difficult to tell much about the maker unless you could find something similar or have information on where it was made. Depending on the size or karat weight you might want to have it appraised.  Enjoy your ring !
