Identifying a 1947 14K Gold Band with Floral Design - J.R. Wood & Sons

Hi I was interested in a gold band.It is dated 1947 it has a raised floral design. the band is also engraved 14KEWOOD but the E is pointy like a sideways W. I was wondering if you could tell me more about the maker.I was also wondering if that E was for electroplate.

Hello kate and thank you for your inquiry. I believe your bracelet is by J. R. Wood & Sons of Brooklyn New York. They used the hallmark that you describe. They were producers of 14K jewelry as well as watches and were active during the 1930's. Hope this helps and enjoy your bracelet.
