ruby   Hi, I bought this large Indian ruby in a heart shape on eBay and was told it was at least 10carats. Was wondering if you could clarify whether it is a synthetic or natural one and if possible tell me an approximate value?

It is impossible to tell whether the Ruby is real or not without a lab test or at least seeing it in person. Though, it looks real due to some characteristic inclusions.
If it is real, the value for a 10cts. Ruby of this quality would be worth around $50.
