Identifying Antique 14K Gold Engagement Rings: Maker & Age

QUESTION: I have a feature lock ring that has the print 14k PAT-B. I am trying to find the makers of this ring and how old this ring could possibly be. I was told that it is an antique. I've asked professional jewelers but it is out of their expertise. Hopefully you can help me.
