QuestionHi, I am 20 years old and pregnant with my first child. I am currently eight weeks. My last period was 1-6-04, but I have a 31 day cycle so that alters things a bit. I know I concieved On 1-23-04. I have been having a great pregnancy so far, not much sickness, just very sore breasts. I have not been to a dr yet, the first appt I could get is 3/24/04, and on 3/15 I have a ultrasound being done at a clinic. This morning after waking up I went downstairs and was seeing lots of spots, I could barely read the newspaper. Then after about 20mins or so they gradually went away and it turned into a headache. I have heard mixed things, I know headaches are normal, but is seeing spots bad?
Answer Spots are NOT good. Just what they mean only a Dr. can tell you.
I got "spots" when I was around 37 weeks that was my first and only clue I had Toxemia.
You should consult your Dr. right away to be on the safe side.
Good luck to you.
P.S. Toxemia is farely rare as early as you are.
