Pregnancy Test Accuracy: What to Expect at Planned Parenthood & Beyond

I was just curious how accurate pregnancy tests are at planned parenthood? I figure it's the same as any other dr's office. Ive had an abortion and unprotected sex (after I was on the pill for a few weeks before that) then had a very very long painful period, followed by the no show of my second period. I took a couple of pregnancy tests at home which were positive, but at the office I was negative. I'm assuming it would have shown up because I should have been over a month pregnant. I don't have any signs or anything I'm just concerned. Abortion was a hard thing to go through. Thank you.

Yep, just as accurate. Sometimes the pregnancy hormone will still show up for awhile after the abortion, which may have been what you were seeing. However, you may want to have them do a blood test to make sure, or call and just relay your situation. You should be fine.
