Hello, I am on Nordette BC. I noticed today I was a couple days behind. I entended on taking a pill this morning then one this evening, also two tommorow to catch up.
After taking the pill this morning I started cramping like I am going to start my cycle. I would like to go ahead and start and would not have taken the pill had I known I was going to feel I was going to start.
My question is, will I start even after taking the on pill this morning?
Thanks.

If you missed two pills, you will start getting cramps and may start bleeding, if you do not make up for the pills you missed. You shouold take two pills today and two tomorrow and you will have cought up. You may still get cramps and bleeding but that is only because you missed the pills. It is not your regular period.
AnswerIf you miss one pill, you must take two the next day. If you miss two pills in a row, you must take two pills the next day and two pills the day after (in order to catch up). If you miss more than 2 pills in a row, throw the whole pack away and start a new pack on the next Sudnay. It is not harmful to take more than one pill in one day. We use birth control pills to regulate periods, as well, and sometimes we prescribe a pill every 2 hours in order to control bleeding. (Estrogen stops uterine bleeding).
