QuestionI was on the pill, and missed a couple of pills mid way through, then my period started, then I started a new pack, and missed more pills and my period was back within two weeks, could I be pregnant or is that the effects of taking the pill improperly? I need help fast, had a misscarriage about five months ago, don't want to risk another one.

Anytime you miss any pills and you have had unprotected sex, you can't rule out pregnancy. However, your period works of withdrawl from estrogen/progesterone, so, anytime you miss your pills which contain those hormones, your body is going to react by having a period. I would advise taking a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy, but it sounds to me like you are having withdrawl bleeding from missing your pills.
