Bleeding After Period: Possible Pregnancy & Risks - What to Do
QuestionI have recently had bleeding and it is not time for my period. I just ended my period so I'm sure its not that, plus it is lighter than my period. I'm afraid that I might have gotten pregant, which is unlikely because I'm on the birth control pill and always use a condom. However, I haven't been taking the pill at a regular time and maybe once a week forget and have to take it the following day when I remember. If I some how did get pregnant, it would be bad as I recently had many x-rays taken and an MRI taken because I was in a car accident. I had a small fever 6 days a go and slept for 12 hours straight and when I work up was okay, and then had another small fever 2 days ago and slept it off. I have had small stomach cramps-nothing really painfull. I looked up information online about miscarriages and thoes were the signs. I'm only 18 and don't know much about any of this stuff. Either I'm bleeding because I am now on a regular schedule for birth control and my body is adjusting, or I'm scarred I might be miscarring and never knew I was pregnant. Will a pregnancy test tell me if I was pregnant while miscarriaging, or will it show up negative during miscarriages. Thank you so much for any advice and help you can offer.
AnswerFirst of all during miscarriages you loose ALOT of blood and the cramps are very painful just like those during labor so if you had a miscarriage you would definately know it. I don't think you are pregnant. You may be regulating from the pills or even stressing about something going on in your life. The car accident could have even caused this. Talk to your doctor and let them know whats going on because it could be something that needs attention fast. I hope I helped. Good Luck
