Lower Abdominal Pain & Negative Pregnancy Test: What Should You Do?

i have been having lower pain under my belly for about a wk. 2 days ago i took a pregnancy test and it came out positive. The pain goes and comes if i'm laying down. I took another pregnancy test today and it came out negative. Should i take another test? Or am I not pregnant..I have a dcts appt. friday. any advice you have is appreciated.

If the pain gets any worse at all or if you have any bleeding at all, you should go to the ER today. Otherwise you should keep your appointment with your doctor tomorrow.

The concern in these situations is an ectopic (i.e. tubal) pregnancy. That can be dangerous to you, so if at all in doubt today - go to the ER
