Ovulation Timing & Pregnancy Risk During Your Period: A 35-Day Cycle

How common do u think it would be for a 14 year old girl to ovalate right after or during her period when she has a 35 day cycle. Because my bf and i had sex on the 5th day of my period

Answer
You cannot ovulate nor become pregnant on cycle day #5 of your cycle. In a 35 day cycle (from the first day of your period until the first day of your next period) ovualtion occurs 14 days PRIOR TO the first day of your period (or on cycle day #21). Even if you had a normal 28 day cycle, you could not ovulate until cycle day #14. You cannot become pregnant during your period. Don't worry.
