Coughing During Pregnancy: Is it Normal?

Hi,
Hope you had a great weekend . I have a question. I'm 7 weeks pregnant after I had a miscarriage in Sept 2004 and just getting over what i think is the worst flu I have ever had in my life. . When I cough i pee all the time . It's not just a cough it a deep down and crazy cough and I only pee alittle but it is very annoy. I was just wondering if this is normal.Also my pee is a funky yellow color.I think the is just from taking my pre vitamins. Thanks for your time kathleen

this is sometimes normal but usually in the latter stages fo pregnancy when the baby is pressing on the bladder, however it does happen at the beginning to when you have to go to the potty alot to pee. I would suggest calling your ob and telling him what is going on especially if you do this other times than when you cough, if it has an odor, if you go alot or drink alot. They need to know these things, also tell him about the bout of flu you had, if you haven't already and what you took if anything.
