Early Period & Vicodin Use During Pregnancy: Seeking Expert Advice

Age:20,PREG:1, MC:1 kids:0, TTC since:Apr.2004 LMP:Jan,14,2005 Lth:29 Day cycle

Q1: On Jan. 29th i had a very small amount of pink brown blood when i wiped.. only once and a small amount.. I was thinking that I was starting my period (early).. light cramps.. everytrhing was gone by morning.. Any ideas?

Q2: I am given Vicodin for Daily Migraines..can it prevent implantion and what will happen if i take it and am pregnant?


Answer
If your last period started on January 14, then on January 29th you were on cycle day #16. The pinkish stained blood was probably "mid cycle staining" or "ovulatory bleeding" and is insignificant. Vicodin is a combination of Hydrocodone and Tylenol and can safely be used during pregnancy for the control of pain.
