Question
1. I have been on birth control for a 1 1/2 and my husband and I desicded we wanted to try and have another baby about how long after I stop my birth control should I get pregnant. I usually get my period on time with the birth control and it lasts anywhere from 5-7 days.

2. My period is not do for 8 more days yesterday I started bleeding and this moring when I woke up it was gone. What do u think Happened? Is something wrong with my birth control?
Thanks!

Answer
Just stop taking the pills, wait for a normal period, and then start trying to conceive. We only advise waiting for a normal period so we can "date" the pregnancy. Even if you became pregnant while you were still taking the pills, there would be no danger to the baby except of you continue to take birth control pills after the start of the second trimester of pregnancy (week 13).  It is normal, sometimes, to have some bledding after your mid-cycle. It is usually shorter than a regular period and insignificant. Don't worry about it. Good Luck.
