Pregnancy After Left Nephrectomy: Risks & Possibilities

I really hope u can help me. I had my left kidney removed about a year ago. I was pregnant a few months ago, but i had a miscarriage. I really want to have the baby, but i am afraid for my babies health as well as mine. Will i be ok to carry a healthy baby and stay healthy myself? Please respond, i am just found out i am pregnant,  want to know if i can be excited or not. Thank you very much.

I honestly can not answer this question from knowledge.  I do know, however, that I had a friend in the same situation as you and she delivered a healthy 9lb boy.  Dont give up hope.  Do check into your doctor as soon as possible.  The earlier you go the earlier they can catch any complications.  Good Luck!
