TAH Recovery & Pelvic Organ Prolapse: Hormone Cream Effectiveness

I had TAH in 99.I have not been on any hormones since then.I feel I have some prolapse or even rectocele.Would using vaginal hormone creams at this point reverse the situation?I had cervix removed.Any suggestions?I read where surgery for rectocele is not very successful.THanking you in advance.I am 54.Susan

The only treatment for a cystocele or rectocele after a TAH is surgery. Hormonal therapy will not reverse the situation. Sometimes the surgery is quite successful and other times it is not. You have to find a surgeon with a good success rate and make an appointment. Good Luck.
