Understanding Basal Body Temperature Charting During TTC

Question
Age: 34, one son, 2 m/c on 6/05 and 9/05.  LMP: 9/28.

I am TTC and charting (following a M/C last month).  This week I woke up a couple mornings from bad dreams 1/2 hr earlier than I usually temp. I felt tense, heart beating fast...I took temp then and got high temps (ex. 97.7). I then took temp 1/2 hr later at my normal time after staying in bed resting and got temps much lower (ex. 97.2). Can you suggest what temps are more accurate?  If I use the high temps it appears as though I ovulate; if I use the lower ones, I did not.

If you want specifics:
oct 13 - 97.7 or 97.1?
oct 15 - 97.7 or 97.2?   (+OPK later that day)

My chart is at: http://www2.fertilityfriend.com/home/d5ded (using the lower temps).

Thanks in advance for your help!

Answer
You cannot tell what is going on by looking at a few temperatures. YOu must plot the full month (and two more cycles). Then you can see if there is a "biphasic curve" and can identify the exact day of ovulation. Usually before ovulation the overall temperature is lower than the temperature after ovulation. It is easily seen. However, you cannot tell anything by looking at one or two temperatures because there are times that an individual temperature may be elevated due to a cold or a sleepless night.
