QuestionThank you, you are very patient and kind.
Can you please tell me what this means as well.

Thank you for your info.
My doctor told me the Doctor who evaluated my ultrasound wrote this as part of the report, "Your written report says, it's an appropriate lining for your cycle"
Would this be the way to phrase as part of the evaluation?

Hi,
thank you for your knowledge.
I recently went to my obgyn who said it's not so much the number of days your luteal phase lasts but the level. Is this true? I would think both matters.
Answer -
A normal luteal phase is 14 days (from the start of ovulation to the start of your next period). The number of days of the luteal phase is important, as is the level of progesterone during the luteal phase. Both of these parameters must be evaluated.
Answer -
The phrase "it is an appropriate lining for your cycle" merely means that the endometrial lining of the uterus seemed of a reasonable thickness based on the cycle day you were when the sonogram was taken. Did you get a progesterone level yet? If it is low, you would really benefit from progesterone supplementation.
AnswerThe "cul-de-sac" is the space in the lower pelvis below the tubes and the ovaries. If there were a ruptured ovarian cyst or any mass, fluid is usually seen in this area. The sonographer is merely saying that there is no free fluid or masses, which is the normal state.
