Hi I was on the pill about a month and stopped taking because my partner and I decided to have a baby. When I stopped taking the pill I have being bleeding about two months now, its just spotting but sometimes I bleed heavy. I'am really worried because I will not stop bleeding and cant get pregnant because of the bleeding. what might be the cause of the two month bleeding, and why it wont stop, What do you suggest I do. I hope you can help me, thanks

If you have been bleeding for two months straight, you obviously have some hormonal imbalance. YOu should call your gynecologist and have the doctor treat you with Provera (10mg twice a day for 5 days) and you should stop bleeding within a week. Then wait for a normal period and start trying to conceive on cycle day #14 (from the first day of your period)
Hi I did what you said to do. got the pills 10mg for 10 days I missed one day. But I bled throught the hole 10 days and still bleeding the doc precribed a sonogram...what do you think it could be or what should be done know? thank you :)
AnswerIf you continue to bleed for ten days after finishing the Provera, you may need estrogen therapy to stop the bleeding. I agree that you should have a sonogram. Your doctor will know how to stop the bleeding. Did you get any blood tests to see if you are anemic? Your hormones must be regulated. Discuss it with your doctor.
