Post-Pill Bleeding: Duration, Regulation & Period Changes

Question
-------------------------
Now that I know it's normal (deep breath), how long does it usually last?  And will this effect my
period next month?  Does it normally take some time for the body to regulate itself again?
Thanks for your help, I truly appreciate it.

Question -
I am 24 with no children and my last period started December
14.  I decided to stop taking birth control recently, this past
Saturday actually, after being on it for two years.  Yesterday,
Tuesday, I noticed I was bleeding when I went to the bathroom.
This morning when I woke up, there was more blood in my
underware.  I've only been off the pill for four days.  Is this kind
of bleeding normal when you stop taking birth control?
Answer -
Whenever you stop taking birth control pills, you will immediately start bleeding. This is due to
the sudden drop in hormone level. It is normal. zzzz

Answer
The bleeding should stop within a week. Then you should get your next period in around one month. YOu may or may not ovulate this month. However, you can assume that you may ovulate around cycle day #14. You can become pregnant if you have sex on cycle day #13, 14, 15, or 16 if you did, indeed, ovulate.
