Missed Period After Pill Removal: Pregnancy or Hormonal Changes?

I got off the combined pill and I haven't had my period yet. I had bleeding one day. Since going off the pill I have had protected sex twice and both times my boyfriend withdrew before ejaculation. However I am late for when my period is supposed to come. Am I pregnant or am I having hormonal problems from coming off the pill? Please help me

Sometimes, when stopping the birth control pill, you may not get your period for awhile. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missing your period. If it has been seven days since you were expecting your period, take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, you are not pregnant. If it is negative, it is probably merely some hormonal imbalance that will straighten itself out in time.
