I am 19 years old, me and my boyfriend had sex and we did use a condom however I am still afraid of pregnancy! What are the signs and symptoms of pregnancy? My last menstrual period was the 3rd of January

If you have a normal 28 day cycle (from the first day of your period until the first day of your next period) ovulation occurs on cycle day #14. You can become pregnant if you have sex on cycle day #13, 14, 15, or 16. If you did become pregnant on one of those days,a pregnancy test will not show a positive result until 14-21 days later. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after you miss your next period. If your period started on January 3, you could have conceived if you had sex on January 15,16,17, or 18. You were due for your next period on January 30. By now, a pregnancy test would be accurate. I  would suggest that you take a home pregnancy test at this time. The earliest symptoms of pregnancy are breast tenderness, fatigue, and nausea. Condoms are only 85% effective in preventing pregnancy.
