Pregnancy Risk After Unprotected Sex During Period & Emergency Contraception

What are the chances of a woman becoming pregnant if she had
unprotected sex while on her period.  The man did not ejaculate
and an Emergency Contraceptive Pill was taken 84 hours after
intercourse.

Answer
You cannot become pregnant if you have sex during your period. In order to become pregnant, ovulation must have occurred. Ovulztion does not occur until, at least, 14 days after the start of your period. You did not have to take any emergency contraception.
