Flying During Pregnancy: Safety & Guidelines (1st & 2nd Trimesters)
Questioni'm 6-8 weeks pregant and i'm meant to be flying in 3 weeks time, is this ok and will it have any effect on my baby.
AnswerHello Heidi,
It is good that you are concerned about your baby. Flying in the 1st and 2nd trimesters is fine. Most doctors (and airlines) recommend not flying after your 34-36th week. At this point, you may feel more nauseated than normal.Drink a lot of water. Also, be sure to more your legs and ankles, and roll your shoulders back throughout the flight.
Have fun and enjoy!
