Pregnancy After D&C: How Soon Can You Get Pregnant?

I had a D&C done on Sept. 15.  I only bled for 6 days.  Is it possible that I could get pregnant right away.  I'm not saying that is what I'm trying to do but I'm just curious as to if it could happen.

Thanks for your question. Yes, pregnancy could happen again, but it's highly unlikely. It takes the body a while to realize what happened. Abortion is unnatural and the body has to contend with a bunch of hormones, etc. and no clue what to do with them. It takes a while to re-group. But it is possible. And remember: It's important to abstain while you're healing.
