QuestionI am pregnant and don't know if it's my husbands or this other mans I had a affair with. I believe the last time me & this other guy had sex was on February 8-10 , somewhere in there. The 1st day of my last period was Jan 29ish somewhere in there. I had a pregnancy test done on Feb 27 and it was negative at a doctors office, on March 3 , I did one at home and it was positive. I went to the doctor on March 7 and he did a blood & urine and said I was 1 probable not evan 2 weeks pregnant, could it still be this other mans baby? We also used the pull out method ,which I know isn't 100 %. Please help! I'm so scared! I do love my husband so so so much and I know I made a huge mistake-

AnswerIf your last period started on January 29, you would have ovulated on Fegruary 11 and could haave conceived if yuou had sex on FEbruary 10,11,12, or 13. If you did become pregnant on one of those days, a pregnancy test wold not show a positive reult until 14-21 days later. I should tell you that the withdrawal method does not work at all. Condoms are 85% effective, Foam is 90% effective, and he pill and the patch is 99.9% effective. There are 300,000 sperm at the tip of the penis prior to ejaculation. If he tries to withdraw he penis prior to ejaculation, these sperm can be milked into the vagna, and if it was at yur fertile time, you can become pregnnt. Once you get your period, you cannot have become pegnant earlier.
