QuestionI'm not sure I'm using the right term. Yesterday I discovered that something is pushing out of my vagina. I believe that would be my uterus? I'm 58 and the last time I was at the doctor, I was told my uterus had dropped. The Dr.'s visit was longer ago than I care to admit. My question is: What procedures need to be taken? and is my evaluation probably correct and is this dangerous? I am making a doctor's appt. today. Thank you so much for your time.
AnswerYou are probably right. My website , www.mybladderMD.com , as well as the site for the American Urogynecologic Society, www.augs.org , have good info for you.
In my opinion, you should see a fellowship-trained urogynecologist.
Best of luck
I'm sure if you look at these two sites you will get all of your questions answered - and will probably be better prepared for your appointment.
