I took the first pregnancy test(clearblue easy digital) on monday that was positive then the other 2(e.p.t brand) on Wed. and thru. which we're negative..I went to the dct yesterday to do blood work. If I am not pregnant..and my period does not come in another wk..Is it still possible that I still may be pregnant?

I no longer have the pain on my side. I still have had no period. Am I not pregnant? Was the positive a false positive?

I am 22, have a 10 mth old son. Who was born by c-section due to placenta previa. Last month I had my period twice. The first on the 5th of March and the 2nd on the 20th both we're heavy. I have a 28 day cycle normally.I was on birth control but had missed several pills. I took a digital pregnancy test yesterday and it came out positive. I have been feeling cramping underneath my stomach. Sometimes more on the left side than the other. And numbness around my c-section scar. I've been reading about ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages. And am kinda worried. Was the 2nd period a misscarriage?and/or is the pain i'm feeling due to a tubal pregnancy? I have set an appt. w/my doct. but it isnt till the 27th. Can you shed some light on my situation?

If you started your period on March 5, and you have a 28 day cycle, you ovulate on cycle day #14. You can become pregnant if you have sex on cycle day #13,14,15, or 16. Therefore, you could have conceived if you had sex on March 17,18,19, or 20.I would suggest that you take a blood pregnancy testl If you suspect an ectopic, check with your doctor.

I do not know what  you meant by a digital pregnancy test. The test I was talking about is a Beta HCG test (numerical), twice, 48 hours apart. If there is a doubling of the results in 48 hours, it indicates a viable pregnancy. If there is a halving of the results in 48 hours, it indicates a miscarriage. If the results "plateau" there is a risk of ectopic. If your last period started on March 5, and you missed several pills, you may have ovuated on March 18. Sometimes there is bleeding at the time of ovulation. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after you miss your next period. You were due for your period on April 1. The best time to take a pregnancy test would have been April 8. If a pregnancy test is nevative at that time, you ae not pregnant. You could only have conceived (normal uterine pregnancy or extopic)around the time of ovulation. You probably ovulted on March 18 and could have conceived on March 17,18,19, or 20. If you did become pregnant at tht time, a pregnancy test will not show a positive result until 14-21 days later. As I said, the The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after you miss your next normal period. You said  that you took a digital pregnancy test yesterday and it came up positive. However you said tht you took another pregnancy test two days later which was negative and another follow up which was also negative. If you took the first one yesterday, when did you take the second and third pregnncy tests if the first one was only yesterday.
Yhe best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after you miss your period. Your period snould have started on April 1. If you do not get your period by  April 8, that is when you should get a pregnancy test. A pregnancy test taken earlier is not accurate and is usually incorrect.

Answer
As I said before, a pregnancy test is not accurate until 7 days after you miss your period. If your last perod started on March 5, you were due for your next period on April 1, so if you have not started your period by April 8, take a pregnancy test and you will know for sure. You certainly may still be pregnant because on Wednesday, the pregnancy  tests could have been in error or the HCG levels in your blood may have not reached a threshold to cause a test to be positive. Take another pregnancy test and you will know for sure.
