Answer"Male" sperm do better in an acid medium and "female" sper do better in an aliyline medium. Tese are the recmmendation of Dr. Shettles (a gynecologist in Columbis.
1- Intercours should cease 2-3 days bevore ovulation.
2- Intercourse should be immediatley preceded, on each occasion, by n acidic douche consisting of 2 tbs of white vinegar, in a quart of water. (the acid environment, immobilizes the male sperm)
3- If the wife mormally has an orgasm, she should try to avoid it.Orgasm increases the flow of alkaline secretions, and these could neutralize or weaken the acid envirmont that enhances the chnces of the bynespores ("female" sperm).
4- The face-to-face or missionary position should be assumed during intercourse. This makes it less likely that sperm will be deposited directly on the mouth of the cervix where they might escape the acid environment of the vagina.
5- Shallow peretration by the male at the time of male orgasm is recommended. This makes certain that the sperm are exposed to the acid in the vagina and must swim through it to get to the cervix.
6- NO ABSTINENCE from intercourse is necessary until after the final intercourse 2-3 days before ovultion. A low sperm count increases the possibiity of femal offsprin, so frequent intercourse prior to the final attempt, two or three days before ovulation cannot hurt and may, actually help.
