Answer
Your wife may be pregnant depending on the day you had sex.  However, chances are in your favor that she is not pregnant.  Assuming your wife has a 28 day cycle, her chance of becoming pregnant was around April 10th, give or take a couple of days.  (Here is a link to an ovulation calculator: www.marchofdimes.com/answerq_step2.asp)

Since this was her first period since she gave birth, and especially since she is nursing, her cycles will probably still be erratic.  She may miss one month or have two periods in one month.  It may take a while for things to get sorted out.

If you are really concerned you can go to a doctor and get a blood pegnancy test and that will tell you for sure.  If you can wait, have her take a home pregnancy test in a week or two.

Again, I think the odds are in your favor that your wife is not pregnant.  Good luck to you, and please email me again with any further questions.
