Delayed Menstruation After Childbirth: Causes & What To Do

MY wife was delivered of a baby girl by induced labour 5 months ago. Tilll mow she has not seen her period. she is 33years old.

Hi I answere this question two days ago, so there must be a problem at the all experts server, but here goes I will answer it again.

As you know if menstruation does not occur it is possible to be pregnant, so I would see your doctor and do a test just to make sure she is not pregnant.

If your wife lost a lot of blood or is breast feeding, it is possible that her iron level and vitamen level is low or she could be just very tired after the labour induction.

All these can cause menstruation to cease for a time, take her to the doctor for a check up to make sure that she has enough iron/
