Answer
Sometimes, the demised fetus doesn't disolve and it will just be delivered when you deliver the other baby.  The spotting could be from the demised twin, however, anytime you have spotting during pregnancy, it is cause for some concern.  You should call your doctor and have an ultrasound scheduled to make sure your placenta is intact and that it isn't lying too low in the uterus.  If you have any bright red bleeding, call you doctor immediately and go to the emergency room.  I don't want to scare you, it may simply be the demised twin causing you to spot, but it is better to be safe than sorry.  Good luck!
