Understanding Hydrosalpinx After Miscarriage: Causes, Treatment & Resources
QuestionHi, Thanks for taking a look at my question!
So I'm a healthy 29 year old female who had a miscarriage (first pregnancy) at 7 weeks along. I just got an ultrasound done this week because I've been bleeding ever since for the past 5 weeks, and they found out I have a hydrosalpingx. They said they'd repeat an ultrasound in 6 weeks, and if it's still there then they'd talk surgery. I can't find much up to date info online, do you know any good resources? I did find blogs and it's disheartening to read that it could cause infertility! My husband and I have been married for 4 years and I'm scared to hear this. Also, any natural treatments you might recommend?
Thanks!
RB
AnswerThis is not in my area of expertise, but I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about your miscarriage. I know personally how devastating it is to wonder if you will ever be able to get pregnant again and to have a baby. (I did go on to have a baby, and I know many, many other women who have!) Take care..and good luck!
