Answer -
What medication were you given to bring on your period. he only medication I know of to bring on to bring on your period is progesterone (Provera, Prometrium, etc) This is not a contraceptive pill. A contraceptive pill will not bring on your period. If you do not get regular periods, you will not become pregnant. You need to ovulate every month in order to conceive.
Answer -
How do you know that you are not ovulating. Start the Basal Body temperature chart again. You have to get a basal body thermometer in order to see the change in the temperature. After three months, your doctor should be able to tell when and if you ovulate. You can also tell by buing an ovulation predictor kit from the pharmacy. Discuss it with your doctor.Your doctor or the office personel can tell you what the name of the medication was that they used to bring on your period.
AnswerIf your last period started on May 25, you probablly ovulated on June 7. This can be accompanied with spotting (mittelshmerz) and can cause pelvic discomfort on one side or the abdomen or the other. The spotting is not as long as a regular period and should stop within 3 days. If you continue to have pain, consult your gyn.
