Postpartum Bleeding & Pregnancy: What You Need to Know
Questionafter i gave birth to my daughter who is now three months old i had a normal six weeks blood loss but haven't had one since. i do breast feed my daughter and have been having regular unprotected sex is their a chance i could be pregnant
AnswerWhile breastfeeding can provide some protection against getting pregnant as it frequently halts a woman's cycle, it is still possible to get pregnant while breastfeeding. I recommend taking a pregnancy test to be sure- breastfeeding is not a very good form of birth control. =)
Please let me know if I can help you further or with anything else.
