QuestionI had an ultrasound and these were its findings:
OB ultrasound.Intrauterine pregnancy estimated gestational age 6 weeks two days.Heart rate 122 beats per minute. (Hypoechoic area adjacent to the gestational sac consistent with subchorionic hemorrhage.}
and i dont know what the part i put paretheses around means. Can you Help me by telling me what it means in a way i will understand? Thankyou

That indicates that there might be some bleeding behind the gestational sac. Sometimes this can happen. It is definately something to keep a close eye on, but it doesn't necessarily indicate that you will have a problem holding the pregnancy. Sometimes the blood just resolves itself.
