QuestionHi there,
i am 19 yrs old
my bf and i had unprotected sex on the 7th of Mar, and on the 18th i got my
period...
it was not as my usual periods, the discharge was very light and its colour was not normal, it was very little to even fill a pad...
i was relieved till i read on some forums that a person can have regular periods and be pregnant. They refer to as plotting or spotting...
is that true?
am having my periods ever since,
but not very regular, i got my april and my may periods on the 15th and 16th of the month,
while my period in june was on the 6th and lasted for about 5 days...
i should count another 28 days, and my period was supposed 2 be now, but its not here yet!
i've taken a several HPTs and they r all negative, am still very worried and
have some phobia that my stomach is actually getting bigger :S
it even pains me when i try to sleep on my tummy
i would've went to the doc for a check up, but my country's traditions restrict
girls who are my age and single from going on check ups without a marriage
certificate,
would you please advise me on what to do?
Thanks
AnswerOnce you are pregnant, you do not get your periods. You can, however, have some bleeding during pregnancy for other causes. I would suggest that you get a pregnancy test. If it is negative, you are not pregnant. When was the first day of your last period? Was it on June 6? If so, you were due for your next period on July 3. If you have not seen your period by now, take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, you are not pregnant.
