QuestionHi, I am 3 months pregnant, and i just got a kitten, i was told it was bad to have a cat, cause it can kill my baby, is that true, i read that i could be immune from that toxic stuff, but i have been around cats my whole life,what should i do. and can i still keep my kitty.

You will be just fine, dont get rid of the cat. What you are hearing about is called toxoplasmosis.
Pregnant women have cats in their lives all the time. if it worries you, you could either have someone else clean the litter box (which someone should do anyway because that;s the gross part, right? :-) or just be extra careful when you clean it. of course, check with your doctor, he/she may have other advice, but I dont think it is anything to worry about at all. I had a cat when I was pregnant with my son years ago.
