Hi Charlene,
With the irregular periods it is hard to say what is going on with your cycle...
A few different things may be happening: 1) you are pregnant, and it is too early for the test to pick up as positive, or 2) you are not pregnant and possibly have some other issue that is causing your cycle to be so irregular. Possibly also you may have what is called a chemical pregnancy, which is where there is a sac developing but no embryo. This is a problem and needs to be addressed by a doctor.
You should really call your doctor and have them see you and find out exactly what is going on. Brown blood= old blood, I dont know why you would be having this and not be pregnant though.

I would say it sounds like an irregular period, still. It does not sound like you are pregnant at all. I suppose it could still be a chemical pregnancy that is ending itself.
Please let your doctor know what is going on, though.
