i recently had a d/c done because i was not bleeding every month and my doctor did a d/c he said my uterus was very thick because of this will i become pregnant easier since i had this tooken care of

Hi Betty :)

Hopefully the DNC will have taken care of your issue, and will now regulate your cycles. If you have a period every month from here on in, that indicates ovulation is occuring. So yes, you can become pregnant.

Your uterine lining became thick because your body didnt have a period. It didnt remove its self for a period of time. So basically, it leaves the lining thick, mucousy, and that will hinder with ferilility.

However, I dont know if your ovulated prior to the DNC. you may have, or may not have.

Just know, that if you start having regular cycles now, after the procedure then yes, you are ovulating and can become pregnant.

Also, keep in mind that its not reccomended for you to become pregnant until atlease 2 cycles after the DnC. It is a surgical procedure, and you should give yourself the recovery time, to reduce your chances of infection.
