Toothache During Pregnancy: Safe Relief & When to See a Dentist
QuestionHi I'm 38 weeks pregnant and i have the worst toothache is there anything i can do for the pain
AnswerDear Amanda,
Generally, the only pain reliever that is recommended during pregnancy is acetaminophen (Tylenol). You can also use an ice pack along the side of the jaw that is aching. If that does not help to relieve the pain, you should consult your OB doctor and/or dentist for further treatment. Just make sure that your dentist is aware of your pregnancy status.
I hope that this has helped you and answered your question. I wish you well and a Merry Christmas!
