Spotting During Pregnancy: Causes & What to Watch For

I am 12 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I spotted for about 4 days at 8 weeks and an US at 9 weeks 5 days showed a heartbeat and active fetus. Spotted for 2 more days at 10 weeks 6 days and then again at 11 weeks 4 days (and it continues). It is pink spotting that I only see when I wipe after using the restroom and it is not heavy. I have periodic menstrual like cramps as well. What might be causing this??

I can't tell you where the bleeding is coming from or what it is caused it. The causes could range from a sub-chorionic bleed to something simple like a hemorrhoid.  Your OB doctor would be the most reliable source of information on this topic.  Good luck!
