Dear Annabelle,
I'm not sure what tea you are drinking, but I have not heard of any diet teas affecting fertility in women unless it would have an unusually high caffeine content or have a medication added - at least not in the USA. If you are concerned about it, then the simple fix is to discontinue drinking the tea. More likely your fertility would be affected by a poor diet relating to your attempts to lose weight.
Make sure you are eating a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy products, and limit your caffeine intake. Try getting more exercise to reduce your weight, rather than limiting your diet or taking a diet supplement if you are trying to conceive. The exercise will actually aid in the process as well.
If you had an infectious process going on (which the prescription for Candid-V6 indicates you may have) then this can explain the disruption in your cycles and the abnormal discharge. As the infection clears and your cycles return to normal, you should have an easier time conceiving.
Your most fertile time during your cycle are Days 11-21 (Day 1 being the 1st day of your period). I normally recommend having sex every other day during this time. Having sex every other day gives your husband's body time to build back up his sperm stores. If you do this, and you are ovulating normally, conception is likely within about 6 cycles - that is an average.
I hope this information has helped you and answered your questions. I wish you fantastic luck!

AnswerDear Annabelle,
As far as the tea, the best bet is to simply stop drinking it if you are concerned about it having any effect on your fertility. I'm sorry - I have never heard of it.
As for the counting - very easy. On the day your period starts, that is Day 1. Just like a calendar, that's the 1st day of your "Cycle Month". On the 11th day, that begins your fertile time. You usually ovulate about the 15th day (that is when the egg is released from your ovary so you want sperm cells to be there waiting to fertilize it). One way to know you are about to ovulate is that your cervical mucus will get wet and slippery like an "egg whites" consistency. It's a way your body is telling you it is ready to conceive.
Now - these events can vary a few days here and there. They do not absolutely happen on Day 15 every month. This is why I suggest you have sex every other day during your fertile days (days 11-21). This will allow for any variance in your cycle.
So, for example - if you started an actual period on 1/4, use that as Day 1. Today (1/10) would be Day 7. Hopefully, you will quit bleeding soon. Otherwise, I'm afraid your hormones are a little unbalanced and you might have trouble determining when your cycles are starting. Try doing this for a couple of months.
I hope this helps. Good Luck!
