QuestionI had a trans vaginal ultrasound today and my doctor called and said she is worried because the babies heart rate was only at 92-98 bpm. She is worried I may miscarry this weekend because she says the babies heartrate should not be that low. How worried should I BE?
AnswerHi Kristen :)
Well unfortuently, the baby's heart rate is pretty low. The heart beat usually should be, somewhere between 140 and 170 beats per minute.
I definately would be concerned if I were you. Unfortuently, its a waiting game. There is nothing you can do to prevent a miscarriage, if its going to happen.
It is possible, that this baby will not miscarry. However, the heartbeat is definately to low, and this does indicate a problem.
All you can do, is wait and see, unfortuently ...
Hope this answers your question, and good luck.
